Virtual Prototype of Electrical Machines in ADAMS
Lysák, Jan ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The following thesis deals with the methodology of mechatronic systems design using virtual prototypes. Virtual prototype contains a computer simulation model, whose behaviour represents a physical prototype system. This approach allows to obtain knowledge about the behavior of the developed product before it‘s manufacturing. This leads to shortening new product innovation cycle and lowering the cost of innovation. The first part contains a brief search study of electrical machinery and description of the virtual prototyping. Then the prototypes of electric drives are created, that can be implemented into the more complex machine systems. The work also includes the realization of co-simulation and control design for one of the drives.
Utilization of Virtual Reality Technology in Risk Analysis and Safety of Production Machines
Novotný, Tomáš ; Hajduk,, Mikuláš (referee) ; Krutiš, Vladimír (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The doctoral thesis introduces a study of possibilities for utilization of virtual reality technology in risk analysis and safety of production machines. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse and examine possible means of integrating visualization and interaction techniques of virtual reality into the risk identification process in the early stage of the production machine life cycle. The proposed work provides a methodological approach to the theoretical implementation of these techniques in the definition of dangerous areas of a machine, identification of sources of possible risks and verification of applied measures built-in in the machine structure. A system approach is used for forming and optimizing the introduced methodological procedures. The solution includes the design of the methodology for effective transfer of 3D design data into immersion virtual reality domain. This enables overcoming existing barriers in exploitation of virtual reality technologies in industrial applications. The next section introduces a procedure of implementation of real tools and equipment in immersion virtual reality domain, including an option for detection of collisions between the real tools and virtual objects. Experimental tests confirm its capability of practical utilization. The impact of the final practical contribution is shown by a decrease in the number of accidents during assembly work, due to its appropriate planning and thanks to training of the personnel on a virtual prototype, carried out already before the manufacturing of the actual machine. The result of the presented doctoral thesis contributes to further qualitative improvement of techniques and methods for preventive increase of safety and reliability of developed machines, particularly of machining centres, which will help increase their competitiveness. The properties of the designed procedures are documented and verified on real industrial cases.
Virtual prototyping for machine tools
Klement, Roman ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explores the possibilities of creating a virtual prototype, which is to be understood as an advantageous approach of designing new machine tools. Different approaches regarding the afromrentioned proces are described in the research part. Following the research, a simple virtual prototype for kinematics optimisation was made.
Design of the Tractor's Cabin Suspension
Rekem, Jakub ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis is devoted to tractor cabin's suspension. First part of the work consists of the overview of used suspension designs and their various modifications. Next, law requirements for roll-over protective structure are described. Subsequently, the suspension design for small-sized tractor is explored. Law compliance is revised via ROPS procedure simulation using finite element method. In the last part of the work, virtual prototype of agricultural tractor in Multi-body environment is built and it is used for studying the dynamic characteristics of proposed cabin suspension design.
Virtual prototype of mechatronic system
Dinga, Milan ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling of delta 3D printer virtual prototype and its co-simulation using software ADAMS and MATLAB/SIMULINK. The first part consists of virtual model creation and its kinematic analysis. Then a model of electric motors is created. The final part consists of co-simulation and control design.
The virtual prototype in design process of the machine tool
Krejčiřík, Petr ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses about possibilities of using virtual prototype in design stage of the machine tool. The virtual prototype can be divided into a visual and an analytical model. Both parts of the prototype are possible to analyze with the required criteria and thus obtain an optimal result of proposed object. These analyses effectively reduce costs during the design stage of the machine tool. Using of the virtual prototype ensures that the first manufactured piece is correct according to the required criteria. Compared with an access using a physical prototype is achieved far greater time and financial savings because there are not created non-usable parts.

Computational Modeling of Dynamic Behaviour of Tractor
Hejčl, Pavel ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the assessment of the effects of a rear-mounted mower on tractor dynamics. The first part summarizes knowledge of the used tractor suspension variants and their various modifications. Furthermore, the current possibilities for simulating the dynamics of tractors and the construction of the rear three-point hitch are described. The main part of the work is devoted to the assembly of the multibody model of the tractor with the rear-mounted mower. The correctness of the assembly of the virtual tractor prototype is verified by comparison with the technical experiment on the real tractor. The validated model is further used to analyse various well-defined steady-state and transient driving conditions typical of this set.
